Thyroid Testing & Treatment

There are people who have subclinical thyroid problems that go untreated.

I have worked in the area of diagnosing missed thyroid problems for many years and strive to help people in this area. There are not enough thyroid doctors (endocrinologists) in the Seattle area to treat everyone who needs help with their thyroid gland. Consequently, most people go to their primary healthcare provider to discuss getting testing. Unfortunately, there are many health care providers who are unaware of the need to do full blood testing for the evaluation of optimal thyroid function. And, even if the testing is done, the interpretation of the tests is often inadequate.

I offer full screening and treatment for subclinical and overt clinical thyroid problems.

In the event that you do have a thyroid condition sometimes a referral to a thyroid doctor (endocrinologist) is indicated. In this event I can expedite getting you in to see an expert in the Seattle area since you will have had an initial testing and evaluation.
